8th International Forum on Diving, Salvage and Offshore Engineering Technology concludes
As one of supporting activities of the 2023 World Ocean Week in Xiamen, the 8th International Forum on Diving, Salvage and Offshore Engineering Technology was held in Xiamen, east China’s Fujian province on November 10.
Themed “Gather Momentum of the Industry to Serve the High-quality Marine Economic Development”, the forum was attended by around 50 guests from home and abroad, along with over 300 representatives from ocean-related fields.
During the forum, attendees shared experience and insights in building the new development pattern of of marine economy, and discussed feasible paths for diving salvage to serve the high-quality development of ocean economy and social life, offering professional advice for the integration between marine engineering and diving sector.
Six academicians and experts were invited to give keynote speeches, centering on the topics of integration and management in emergency response, application of AI and big data in diving, salvage, ocean research and navigation projects, as well as other trending issues in international safety code and wreck salvage.
The forum, one of important parts of the 6th International Diving Salvage and Marine Engineering Equipment Exhibition, also marked the 15th anniversary of China Diving and Salvage Contractors Association (CDSA).
The international forum was jointly hosted by China Diving and Salvage Contractors Association (CDSA) Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) and International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA)
