Int'l fishery expo kicks off in Xiamen
The 2023 China (Xiamen) International Recreational Fishery and Aquarium Expo opened its door at Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, East China’s Fujian province on November 10.
The expo will last for three days and is open to the public for free.
Covering an area of 8,000 square meters, this year’s event offers458 standard booths for about 100 exhibitors, showcasing landmark aquatic products, international ocean shipping, high-end ingredients, ornamental aquarium and marine leisure.
A series of supporting activities including a promotional campaign, a oyster and wine tasting event, a signing ceremony, a coastal bazaar, two competitions and a parent-children event will be held at the same time.
Under the guidance of Bureau of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, the expo is organized by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Ocean Development.
Since its initiation in 2008, the eventhas been successfully held for over 10 times and approved by the industry insiders as a professional expo on recreational fishery.
